Overall responsibility for the development of four headquarters buildings
ranging from 50,000 sq.ft to 250,000 sq.ft. Managed leading International
design teams Managed design workshops with designers', suppliers and
trades contractors resulting in reductions in construction costs of
25%..Carried out a detailed value engineering review of the services
design with suppliers and designers on all buildings resulting in
substantial cost savings and easier maintenance.Managed the enabling
works contract, which involved the extensive removal of contaminated
materials from the site before the main construction work could commence

BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT
European oil major
Provided training and consultancy in control. Facilitated workshops for the capture and improvement of the operational processes including sales forecasting, raw materials procurement, production, and distribution. Developed new processes for dealing with customer complaints, and managing suppliers. Developed metrics links to key processes for performance measurement. Provided training in control to staff throughout Europe.

Major International Building & Civil Engineering Contractor
Provided training and consultancy in control 2007. Successfully managed a #70k pilot project for a major business process improvement project. The pilot project involved capturing current processes in live cross functional workshops using control 2007, analysing these processes and developing new improved processes for the management of the supply chain and the estimating processes.

International Architectural Practice and Planning Consultants
Provided training and consultancy in control 2007. Developed detailed processes for the business including strategy development, winning work, setting up projects and the detailed design process from client briefing through to practical completion. In addition to the core processes, sections were developed for support processes including HR, Finance, IT and knowledge management.
Benefits: The development of the core and support processes has improved the consistency of service delivery, reduced waste in the design process and provided the staff with easy access to a single source of key information.
I.T Development Project - Financial Services ASP Provider
Development of the business process maps to enable the preparation of detailed functional and technical software design requirements documents.
The development, in collaboration with department heads, of the business processes maps to achieve effective internal communications and quality control, for the sales, software implementation and customer support processes.

Consultancy Project - Engineering Consultancy
Provided training and consultancy in control 2007. Developed process maps for the complete engineering design process. Reviewed and improved the company management, H&S and QA procedures, integrating these with the design process. Identified the key design process links with external consultants, clients and contractors. Identified and linked Key Performance Indicators to the key process steps.
Benefits: Improved profitability through process efficiency, consistency of service delivery and single source of the truth for key design information.
Housing Association
Reviewed the development and maintenance processes for the Association and provided recommendations for change to enable the Association to adopt the principles for partnering as identified in the Egan report Rethinking Construction. Reviewed the supply chain and developed selection procedures for a partnered supply chain with design consultants, suppliers contractors and subcontractors.

Developed the design and statutory approval process for the signalling infrastructure works. Process map was developed in collaboration with the designers', client, contactors, subcontractors and statutory approval bodies.
Benefits: The map identified the bottlenecks in the approval process and enabled actions to be taken which avoided delays and penalties.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
HOSPITALS - Barnet Hospital Phase 2. Value
£45m
PFI consortium comprising Bouygues Siemens and Ecovert. Responsible
for managing the project from financial close. Managing and advising
the consortium board, and the Hospital board on procurement, programme
and contractual issues.
HOSPITALS - The Phase1 redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital
Value £68m.
Project management including medical briefing, and project management
of the design and construction of seven contracts all completed within
budget. Provided procurement strategy advice to the hospital main
board.
HOSPITALS - 300 bed general hospital Kazakhstan
Managed the preparation of a turnkey design and construction proposal
for a 300 bed general hospital in Kazakhstan. Value $ 100m
THEATRES - The Chicken Shed Theatre Extension
Responsible for leading the project team for the Trust, which successfully
applied for and obtained £3.5m of Arts Council lottery funding.
Project management of the design and construction of the works, and
liasing with and advising the funder's and the client
COMMERCIAL - Call Centre
for Eurotunnel Developments. Project Management of a call centre £4.2m
Completed on time and within budget
COMMERCIAL - Business Park
Managed the tender for the design and project management of a 1m.
sq.ft business park for the MoD.

Developed the hierarchical project process maps and developed the
links from the key stages to other project documentation, including
